Healing Enlarges The Future

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. Genesis 50:20"You must learn, you must let God teach you, that the only way to get rid of your past is to make a future out of it. God will waste nothing." Phillips Brooks Emotional, relational, and spiritual healing often grows out of the worst circumstances. We can experience trauma that will cause the world to tell us, "To give up". The advice is often to just forget about it, deny it, or compensate in some way that changes nothing. Worldly advice or effort does not allow us to grow anything fruitful from the compost of our past.Many injuries against us are not excusable, but none that are not forgivable. Forgiveness brings healing that grows a greater future out of our past than anything we could grow ourselves. Healing is the health that our lives and relationships use to bear fruit for others to be nourished. Fruit is the evidence of our Abba Father's love for us and others.In what ways have you allowed lies about your past to keep you from seeking or giving forgiveness?Who can you forgive that will release healing to you and allow you to become more fruitful for others?Lord, thank You that You have made a way when there is no other way to forgive. May we know the overwhelming love You have for us and will give us to give to others. May we be able to say that our healing results in saving the lives of others. Amen
