Youth Group at One Life

Welcome to The Attic

One Life Youth is now called The Attic. We had been looking for a name and this one started because my new house has an attic in the garage and the youth had been hanging out up there (maybe not the best idea). We started calling it the upper room, and now the youth is The Attic, we are printing youth shirts and the verse that is on the shirt is from Mark 14 when Jesus and the disciples are in the upper room having passover. We will be selling shirts as soon as we get them for around $10.00.

Middle School

Meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 during the main service.

For the Sunday Middle School class we had been having the last Sunday of every month off. There are helpers now in Middle School so we are not going to have the last Sunday off any longer, we are going to try it out and see how well it goes having class every Sunday.

High School

Youth group is held at the church office on 3rd street at 7:30pm every Thursday night!

One Life Youth - The Attic

Hello All,

What an crazy and amazing summer. The Cambodia trip turned out to be so awesome, I was so proud of the students that went. To read some of the stories check out my blog www.nedschaut.com

With the upcoming changes of God calling Troy to Oregon I have had several students and parents wondering what I will do. I am committed to the students, I do not plan on going anywhere. In the future God could change my heart, but as of now I don't feel that I am only called to be a youth pastor, but a youth pastor to these kids here in Lincoln, Rocklin, and Roseville. If anyone has questions or wants to talk I am available.

I am very sad to see Troy go, he has been highly influential in my life. I thank him for all he has taught me.

Although I am sad, I am really excited. Change is good! God is doing something fun and crazy and I want to be a part of it. Even though this change was not part of my plan, it is good because God is keeping me trusting in him and not my own plans.

High School Group

Thursday Night

Whoo Hoo Summer Camp Trip. This summer we are taking our own camp trip instead of the week long youth camp. The dates are August 6,7, and 8. I am really pumped for this trip. Summer is hard for youth to stay consistent, mainly because kids don't even know what day it is. This trip will help us to bond before the school year. Jesus would regularly get away from everything and spend time with the father. That will be our focus.

Thank you for your continued support. God is doing great things in these kids lives.

Middle School Group

Sunday

Can I just say how much I love the middle school group. We have so much fun on Sunday morning playing games, goofing off, and the occasional 'get real' moments.

A lot of the energy is from Kaleasha. She has been so great in working with the kids, especially the girls. They love her. Kaleasha is crazier then I am, she had a bunch of the girls stay at her apartment last night. Gnarly.

Thank you all for your continued support. I believe it is crucial for our Middle School students to be a part of the Sunday morning experience. Thanks for bringing them.
