Current Series - Book of Acts

Unparalleled upheaval. Radical shifts. Devastating loss and complete new beginnings. We are in a season of life where we all feel (even if not directly affected) multiple forces like a perfect storm. We are not the first generation to experience such a magnitude of earth-shaking tremors. In the days and months just following the death and resurrection of Jesus, the early followers experienced their own earth-shaking and life altering events. Having seen Jesus ascend to heaven before their very eyes, the followers of Jesus concluded that He was gone. Jesus was nowhere to be found... They felt lost and probably hopeless. Which way to turn? What to do next? Unsure. Stuck looking to the sky.

Nowhere. Or, just maybe, God was up to something they could not yet understand. Maybe God was still working His plan and His purposes were still being unfolded in their life and world. If you look at it another way, maybe, the Kingdom of God was actually now here. This series through the book of Acts will help us find the way together.
